Barack Obama is such an egomaniac that he has had a hard time accepting the fact that he is no longer president. This week, he reemerged to have one of his minions take credit for him for one of Donald Trump’s biggest accomplishments.
The Washington Examiner reported that Obama’s former top adviser Valerie Jarrett said that the former president should be given credit for the fact that the U.S. has the lowest unemployment rate in almost two decades. It was announced on Friday that the unemployment rate is down to 3.9 percent, the lowest since 2000.
Jarrett was asked if she would give Trump credit for this during an interview with CNN, but she refused to do so.
“Look, I think we have to look at it over a longer horizon than that,” she said. “If you think about what the economy was like when President Obama took office, we were losing 750,000 jobs a month. Under his watch, the unemployment rate dropped in half and it’s encouraging to see that we’re continuing to make progress.”
Obama can pretend that the late unemployment rate is his doing all he wants to, but nobody is buying it. Meanwhile, Trump rightfully took credit for the low unemployment rate on Twitter.
“JUST OUT: 3.9% Unemployment. 4% is Broken! In the meantime, WITCH HUNT!” Trump tweeted.

This comes after Michelle Obama spoke out to claim that she is America’s “forever first lady.”
“I know that you are me, and if I can be standing here as your forever First Lady, then you can do anything you put your mind to. So remember this moment when you’re out there,” Michelle said during a speech in Pennsylvania.
